What stays on your phone

• Your profiles, plans, daily ticks, food log, medicines, reminders, health notes, cycle, wardrobe and photos are stored in this browser on this phone (localStorage and IndexedDB).
• We cannot see them. If you delete the app data or use “Delete all local data”, they are gone from this phone.
• Export files and backups are made only when you ask, and stay with you.

Online features (only when you use them)

• Photo and text helpers (food scan, clothing scan, label scan, plan builder, day adjust, chat): after you agree, the text or a downscaled photo (location data removed) is sent through our Luna Teacup server to a secure third-party online service (Google Gemini) to make the result. Our server does not keep it. On the free tier, the provider may use what is sent to improve its services — don’t include anything you don’t want to share. You can turn these features off in Settings.
• Family sharing: your phone encrypts what you choose to share before it leaves; the key is only in your invite link. Our relay stores only encrypted data it cannot read, and a family space is deleted after 30 days without use. Medicine names, photos, bathroom, cycle and test results are never shared.
• Reminders (Web Push): if you turn them on, our server keeps your push subscription and a schedule of generic reminder types so it can send them. Private reminders show discreet text.
• Weather and places: rounded location coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo / OpenStreetMap services to show weather and nearby places.
• Songs: song searches go to Apple’s public search.
• Ordering and maps: “Order this” and “Find it nearby” open the delivery or map app you choose, with the dish name. You order and pay there; Luna Teacup never orders or pays for you.
• Talk to Luna: what you type is handled on the phone. If you use voice, your phone’s own speech service turns it into text.

Anonymous counting

• At most once a day the app sends a tiny anonymous note so we know how many people use it: a random app id (made on your phone), the app version, the app language and whether it is the first time. No name, health data or location. The server stores a scrambled version of the id plus country and day; daily rows are deleted after 40 days.
• If you answer the “Luna Plus — coming soon” card, your picks and price choice are sent with the same random id, only when you tap.
• You can turn counting off in About (“Count my app opens anonymously”).

Health information

Luna Teacup is for everyday care and is not for diagnosis or treatment. Calorie amounts are estimates. Talk to a doctor about medical questions.

Children

Luna Teacup is not made for children under 13 to use on their own. A parent or carer should set it up and look after it with them.

Your choices

• Use the app fully offline (online features off).
• Withdraw AI consent and remove the device token in Settings.
• Export, restore or delete all data in More → Backup & restore.
